It is not disputed by the parties that the facts of the present case are also similar to the facts in Writ Petition No. 13870 of 2018 with connected writ petitions decided on 16.01.2019. 2.

In view of that, we follow the same course.

The proposal returned back by the State Government shall be forwarded by the University as

2 wp 14288.18 was subsequently forwarded in December-2018 in respect of the petitioner within a period of two days from today. The State Government shall take decision upon the proposal before the cut off date as provided under Section 109 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016. In case, if, the decision is already taken by the State Government with regard to the proposal in respect of the place where the petitioner is desirous of starting the college, the said decision shall not be affected. If no such decision has been taken of any proposal for starting the new college at the place where the petitioner has given the proposal, then the State Government, if possible, shall take decision upon the proposal of the petitioner before the cut off date on its own merits.

Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
