This Application is filed for seeking directions for release of the provisional pension, which is already granted by Respondent No.1. 2.

The issue is as regards the surname of the Petitioner being spelt in English by using two different alphabets. For better understanding, we are reproducing the surname of the Petitioner in Marathi- "tkoGs". This Marathi word, which is a proper noun, can be spelt in English in different ways viz. Jawale, Jawle, Javale, Javle. 3.

Having heard the learned Advocates for the respective sides, we do not find that this issue could detain the payment of the freedom fighter'

s pension to the Petitioner. Being a proper noun, there is a

912ca14788-23 likelihood that some of the authorities may use alphabet "V" and some may use alphabet "W" while recording the surname of the Petitioner. 4.
