The matter is not on board. The papers were permitted to be produced in view of the exigency, inasmuch as the petitioner is to secure admission by 3 December 2023.

The petitioner is before us being anxious that in spite of the directions of this Court, the committee has not decided the proposal for validation of his tribe certificate.

The learned AGP, on instructions, submits that the petitioner has tendered a 1936 Fasli document which was required to be enquired into, a fresh vigilance report was solicited, the petitioner responded to it. He was called upon to produce the original document

2 WP / 14703 / 2023 which he did not and if he is able to produce it, the committee would decide the proposal within a week.

The learned advocate for the petitioner demonstrates that already a vigilance enquiry in respect of the document has been conducted. There is a response filed by the petitioner and the committee on its own merits can decide the proposal as it is. 6.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the committee to decide the petitioner's proposal on its own merits as it stands today, on 04-12-2023.
