The learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the application filed by the petitioners for grant of rental compensation is pending with the Special Land Acquisition Officer-respondent No.2 since March 2019.

In case the application is filed by the petitioners and the same is pending with the Special Land Acquisition officer-respondent No.2 (Page No. 33 & 34), then the respondent No.2 shall decide it on its own merits, after hearing all parties concerned, within a period of nine months.
