ORDER
1.
This is Criminal Revision Application against the Judgment and Order dated 21.12.2024, passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Jalna, in Criminal Appeal No.20/2020. The said Appeal was against the Judgment and Order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, [JMFC], Jafrabad, District Jalna, in S.C.C. No.320/2011, convicting the Applicant for the offenece punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 [hereinafter referred to as 'N.I. Act'].

The Revision Applicant - Kailas Sakharam Korde is personally present before us along with his learned Advocate Mr. Mahesh Kalidasrao Bhosle.

The Sole Respondent - Pravin Pundlikrao Kanadje is also present along with his learned Advocate Mr. A. R. Ban.

Both of them tendered across the Deed of Settlement signed by both the sides. The same is taken on record and marked as 'Article-X' for identifcation.

Learned Advocate for the Sole Respondent submits that, he has received the amount mentioned in the said Deed of Settlement.

Both the parties and their Advocate/s submit that, they have settled the dispute in terms of the said Deed of Settlement. They further submit that, the Application may be disposed of.

As per the provisions of Section 147 of N.I. Act, every offence under that Act is compoundable. In view of the above Deed of Settlement, the conviction of the Revision Applicant recorded in S.C.C. No.320/2011 and Criminal Appeal No.20/2020 stands quashed and set aside. The Revision Applicant stands acquitted for the offence punishable under Section 138 of N.I. Act. The Revision Application stands disposed of.

In view of disposal of Revision Application, Application No.5062/2024 is disposed of accordingly.
