The learned Advocate for the Petitioners, though has presented a Petition which runs into 407 pages including the replies, we do not find that this Petition needs to be entertained in the light of the request of the Petitioner that the Hon'ble Minister Revenue can decide the pending proceedings filed on 06.11.2019 preferred under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

Leave to add the competent authority who would consider the claim of the Petitioners as Respondent No.38. Addition to be carried out forthwith. The learned AGP causes an appearance on behalf of the added Respondent.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off. As the Revenue portfolio is yet to be allotted, we issue the following directions- (I) After the Revenue portfolio is allotted to Hon'ble Minister, notice in the appeal filed under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 by the Petitioners, be issued to all the contesting parties.

(II) From the date of appearance of the parties, the concerned Minister would endeavour to decide the said proceedings as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within twelve (12) weeks therefrom.

3 wp 2719.2022 (III) All contentions of the parties including the contention of some of the Respondents that the earlier litigation has closed the issue between the parties and the Petitioners are subsequent purchasers.
