The Petitioners have stated in paragraph 15 of their pleadings as under:- "15.

The Petitioners submit that, in view of the facts and circumstances of the case as stated herein above, it is clear that, the land of the petitioners was taken over by the respondent authorities in the year 1970 and actual compensation was paid in the year 2016. However, no compensation was paid for the period from 1970 to 2013. Therefore, the petitioners are claiming rental compensation as per the Government Resolution dated 1/12/1972 and 2/4/1979 by making applications to the respondent authorities. The respondent authorities have made internal

(( 2 )) 926-WP-1534-2024 communications by which it came on record that the respondent authorities have also computed amount of rental compensation for which the petitioners are entitled for as per the polity of Government and therefore, the directions of this Honourable Court are necessary."

The learned AGP submits that if the procedure has already been commenced, the same would be completed within six months.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off by recording the above statement.
