Learned advocate for the petitioners, in view of the submission made by the learned AGP about the process of acquisition having been transferred to respondent no.3 - Special Land Acquisition Officer, Aurangabad seeks leave to correct the nomenclature of respondent nos.2 and 3.

Leave is granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith. 3.

The affidavit-in-reply filed by respondent nos.4 and 5 specifically mentioned about a proposal having been submitted with the Land Acquisition Officer at Jalna. They have also placed on record a communication dated 12.05.2022 [Exhibit - R-2], whereby the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Jalna has written to the Collector for taking further steps pursuant to the representation of the petitioners and filing of the petition.

Learned AGP submits that respondent nos.4 & 5 are awaiting reply. 5.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent no.3 - Special Land Acquisition Officer, Aurangabad to conclude the process of acquisition, as expeditiously as possible and in any event within six months.
