This matter has been moved by the parties claiming that they have settled the dispute amicably between them, resolving to permanently severe the ties and have arrived at a compromise. Compromise terms have been reduced into writing on affidavit, verified before the Registrar (Judicial) of this court on 18-12-2018, superseding the earlier compromise terms. 2.

Learned counsel for the parties state that, both the husband and wife were preset before the Registrar (Judicial) and that on solemn affirmation they have verified the terms of compromise. Those had been explained to them in vernacular and they have understood and accepted the same. Terms of compromise are not forbidden by any law nor are opposed to any

2 FCA - 3-2018 public policy. The terms of compromise have been signed by the parties on their own volition and with their free will. The parties were identified by their respective learned counsel before the Registrar (Judicial). The husband and wife are present in the court.

In view of aforesaid, family court appeal stands disposed of in terms of compromise.
