It is submitted by Mr. Dodya, learned counsel for the petitioner that the prayer clause (D) made by the petitioner is complied with by the respondents. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner had given application on 21.03.2018 and 23.03.2018 for necessary action against the office bearers and President of the Municipal Council, Majalgaon for the illegalities and irregularities committed by them.
The respondent no.2 has constituted the committee by its order dated 19.03.2019 and had directed the committee to complete the enquiry within two weeks.
(2) 7-wp-7069-2018 However, the committee has not taken any steps. The committee be directed to complete the enquiry within a stipulated period.

We have heard Mr. Gangakhedkar, learned counsel for respondent no.7.

It is for the committee to conduct enquiry as may have been ordered by respondent no.2. The respondent no.2 can take further steps in that regard. However, the orders of respondent no.2 are not complied by the committee. Needless to state that, even, the petitioner accepts that respondent no.2 has constituted the committee to enquire in the matter. If enquiry is not conducted, then respondent no.2 is at liberty to take further steps in the matter.

Writ Petition accordingly disposed of. No costs.
