The PIL-Petitioners have put-forth prayer clause-B as under: 2.
The learned AGP points out the following portions from the affidavit dated 29.08.2023 filed by Shri Samadhan Sukhlal Shire: "9.
I say and submit that, it is brought to the notice of Hon'ble High Court that due to this reorganization of Parbhani Forest Sub Division, there is no any harm to the cause of the Farmers from Parbhani because they will not be required to travel to Hingoli for lodging their complaints, as the office of the Assistant Conservator of Forests/Range Forest Officer is still working at Parbhani, therefore the Farmers can avail all the services from the office at Parbhani.

...The Officer of the rank of Assistant Conservator of Forests was earlier working at Parbhani and after reorganization also the same level officer will work at Parbhani. It is submitted that after
( 2 ) 955 ca 14697.23 amalgamation also the conservation, protection of forest will be managed by the Forest Officer stationed at Parbhani. Only the independent status of the Sub Division has been withdrawn." 3.
In view of the above, the grievance of the Petitioners is addressed to some extent. The Civil Application is disposed off. 4.
In the event the Farmers from the Parbhani region face any problem as regards availability of Assistant Conservator of Forests at Parbhani, they are at liberty to draw our attention to this aspect by filing a Civil Application.
