Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader.

The affidavit is filed by the respondent that the possession of the land was taken on 20th December, 2013. The proposal was forwarded to the Collector for initiating land acquisition proceedings on 10th February, 2014. It is further stated that, acquisition proceedings under The Right to Fair Compensation

2 wp 15190.17 and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (hereinafter referred to 'Act - 2013'), is under way.

The acquisition proceedings are taken up under the Act - 2013, as per the affidavit filed.

In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
