The Petitioner is seeking a validation of his claim of belonging to the Koli Mahadev Scheduled Tribe, which is pending before the competent committee since 16.04.2018. Vigilance cell inquiry is pending. He prays for an early decision.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off expecting Respondent No.2 to decide the pending proposal of the Petitioner on or before 30.06.2024. The Petitioner would render wholehearted cooperation to the committee and would refrain from seeking adjournments on unreasonable or trivial grounds, lest, the committee would be justified in progressing to the next stages in the proceeding.
