We have heard the learned counsel for the respective petitioners.

Learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the vehicles of the petitioners are released on 26th February, 2018. 3.

We do not appreciate and approve the conduct of respondent in delaying the release of the vehicles by eight months. The respondent was duty bound to comply the orders of this court immediately. We also do not find any satisfactory reason for not complying the orders of the court earlier. We had not restrained the respondent from taking further action, however, had directed him to release the vehicles in question. The reason given is of inadvertence in passing the orders. We cannot comprehend the reason given by the respondent for not passing the orders due to inadvertence.

The respondent has tendered his unconditional apology. We accept the apology tendered by the respondent and warn him that if such an act is repeated, the court will take stern action against him.

If the petitioners have any other remedy, the petitioners are at liberty to avail the same.
