The Revenue Recovery Certificate (RCC) is dated 17.10.2011. The Petitioner succeeded in the proceedings under section 33(C)(2) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. The total amount to be recovered as in October, 2011 was Rs.5,67,336/-.

The learned Advocate for the the Zilla Parishad submits, on instructions taken from the CEO, that an appropriate procedure would be followed and the payment along-with interest would be cleared by 29th February 2024. The petitioner is satisfied. 3.

In view of the above, this Petition is partly allowed by directing the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Jalna to calculate the interest @ 6% per annum from November, 2011 till 31st January,

24wp15142-23 2024 on the amount of Rs.5,67,336/- and the total amount shall be paid to the Petitioner on or before 29.02.2024, failing which, we direct the District Collector, Jalna to initiate proceedings under the Land Revenue Code and recover the said amount of Rs.5,67,336/- with interest from the Zilla Parishad, Jalna by disposing off their proprieties and vehicles by treating the amount as an arrears of land revenue.
