Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner and learned AGP for the respondents. By way of this petition, the petitioner has come before this Court praying for a direction to respondent No.2 - Scheduled Tribe Scrutiny Committee, Aurangabad, to decide the tribe claim within a stipulated period. 2.

The learned AGP submits that though the claim was filed on 31.03.2013, it was pending for some time. The petitioner later on took back the certificate submitted for scrutiny, thereafter, he has not submitted the original certificate which he obtained later on. It is for this reason the Committee could not decide the tribe claim

2 957.WP.14874.25.odt promptly. She submitted that if the petitioner produces the original certificate, the committee would decide his tribe claim as early as possible. Considering the above following order :

O R D E R

I.

The writ petition is allowed.

II.

The petitioner is directed to submit the original certificate within one (1) week from today. After the certificate is produced, the committee shall decide the claim within six

(6) months thereafter, provided the petitioner cooperates in the earlier disposal.

III.

The petitioner shall cooperate with the committee without seeking any adjournment and is also directed to appear before the Committee on 16.12.2025. With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. (ABASAHEB D. SHINDE, J.) (KISHORE C. SANT, J.) habeeb/
