The petitioner has approached this Court seeking direction to respondent No.2 - Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner. The claim is pending since 16.01.2025. The urgency expressed is that the petitioner has received the letter of allotment of a seat pursuant to CET Examination in respondent No.4 - College. Since he is not having validity certificate and as he is likely to lose the seat, the petition can be disposed of with following directions.

O R D E R

I.

The respondent No.2 - Committee is directed to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner within six (6) months from today. Till then the respondent No.4 not to take any adverse action merely on the basis that the petitioner is not possessing the caste validity certificate. The protection to the admission would be subject to the outcome of the decision taken by the respondent No.2. II.

The respondent No.4 to admit the petitioner and allow him to attend the classes.

III.

The petitioner shall not seek any equity.
