We have heard the learned Advocates for the respective sides in the light of prayer clause B, which reads as under:- "B) By issuing Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or direction in like nature the Respondent No.1 may kindly be directed to decide the Application/ Petition filed by the Petitioner U/ Sec. 28-A of L.A. Act, as early as possible and within the stipulated time."

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that prayer clause C would not be pressed at this stage in this

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to the District Collector to initiate appropriate steps in the light of the pendency of the LAR proceedings, which are received by the office of the District Collector on 24.06.2009, in the light of the judgment of the LAR Court dated 26.03.2009 delivered in LAR No.275/2008 (old No.78/2004), within four months from today.
