The petitioner claims for grant-in-aid which was previously turned down, on the ground of financial crunch on account of Covid-19 pandemic. It has specifically been observed in the Government Resolution dated 25.05.2021 that, the restrictions imposed by the Finance Department on 04.05.2020 were lifted/withdrawn. A fresh decision would be taken as regards the release of grants-in-aid. 2.

In view of the aforesaid, we direct the Respondent No.1/State to decide the petitioner's claim for grant-in-aid on its own merits within a time frame of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3.
