We have heard Mr. Nagarkar, the learned counsel for the petitioner. At the outset, we observe that the petition is misconceived. The term of petitioner as Chairman of Gangapur Panchayat Samiti is already over. The extension was granted for 120 days pursuant to the ordinance issued by the Hon' ble Governor.

The respondents have only now fixed the dates for draw of reservation. The petitioner does not have a vested right. 3.

In light of the above, the petition being sans merits, stands dismissed. No costs.
