Heard learned Counsel for the respective parties. Since a limited grievance is raised in the petition. with the consent of the learned Counsel for the parties, the petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, by inviting our attention to the document placed on record at page 23, namely, the acknowledgment receipt submitted before us that the petitioner submitted an application to respondent no.2 for issuance of caste certificate along with the requisite documents including a validity certificate issued in favour of his grandfather. It is also the submission of the learned Counsel that though the State Government issued various notifications directing the authorities to issue caste certificates expeditiously, till date respondent no.2 has not issued the certificate in favour of the petitioner.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is desirous to act in political field and as such is further desirous to contest elections and for that purposes he is in need of the caste certificate. This being a very limited grievance of the petitioner, the petition can safely be disposed by issuing directions to respondent no.2 - Sub-Divisional Officer, Latur to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 10th September, 2018 as expeditiously as possible and not later than twelve weeks from today, needless to state on the merits of the application and accordingly it is directed.
