Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits before us that the petitioner is before this Court seeking issuance of writ of Quo Warranto against respondent No.4 through respondent Nos.1 and 2. Perusal of the material placed on record shows that the petitioner is a retired employee of Police Department and challenging the appointment of respondent No.4 who was appointed on the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Armourer). 3.

Considering this very facts, we are of clear opinion that the petitioner is having an alternate and efficacy remedy wherein the challenge can be raised to the appointment of respondent No.4 and this is not a case to entertain the petition by exercising our extraordinary powers to treat that even though there is an alternate remedy the petition caused for indulgence of this Court. 4.

With these observations, we dispose of the petition.
