Infact, the insurance company as also claimants have taken out civil applications seeking consequential order pursuant to disposal of this First Appeal before Lok Adalat which was held on 09.09.2017.

In terms of settlement, the claimants have restricted their claim of compensation to Rs.14,00,000/- alongwith interest accrued thereon at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of filing of the petition till realisation of the amount. The balance amount is to be refunded to the insurance company. 3.

Accordingly, the Registry is directed to permit both the parties withdrawal of proportionate basis as per the settlement arrived at before Lok Adalat on 09.09.2017.
