The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have not been paid the amount of rental compensation. The application is filed with the Sub Divisional Officer for rental compensation along with Special Land Acquisition Officer / competent authority.

In case, such an application is filed, the Special Land Acquisition Officer / competent authority shall decide the same on its own merits,
