The Petitioner's prayer is that his Revision Petition No.123/2006 pending before Respondent No.2, be decided within a time frame. It is contended that the said proceeding under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code was reserved for orders on 17.11.2017.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off with the following directions:- (a) If the said proceedings have been closed for orders more than six months ago, the same shall be reopened and shall be posted for a hearing on 10.01.2024 at 12.00 noon. For this

*2* 969wp15518o23 purpose, Respondent No.2 shall issue notices to the parties involved in the said litigation, except the Petitioner. After appearance, the proceedings shall be decided on it's merits by following the due procedure laid down in law, within 120 days. (b) If the proceedings are pending and have not been closed for orders, the above procedure shall be followed by directing the parties to appear on 10.01.2024 at 12 noon and shall be decided within the same time line.

(c) If the matter is already decided, the order passed in the said proceeding shall be communicated to all the litigating sides, expeditiously.
