The petitioners have submitted the proposals for verification of their tribe certificates on 13.10.2023 and 04.10.2023, respectively, which are old enough to approach this Court seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 - Scrutiny Committee to decide their proposals expeditiously.

We see no reason why this Court to take initiative and issue a writ of mandamus when the petitioners for all these years have not taken care even to submit their proposals in advance. It cannot be said that the Committee is not discharging the duties expeditiously and as is contemplated in law.
