The admission of the petitioners secured on the basis of caste claims were cancelled by the impugned communications on their failure to submit the caste validity certificates before the cut off date which was prescribed as 15.04.2019.

It appears that the petitioner in WP No.15006/2019 secured the validity certificate in April 2019 just after the cut off date whereas the other petitioner secured it in October 2019.

By way of interim relief, both the petitioners were allowed to complete the course. As of now, both have completed the course but their degree certificates have been withheld for the same reason. 4.
In our considered view when both the petitioners are now armed with caste validity certificates and have also completed the course, may be pursuant to the interim relief granted in their favour by this Court, the propriety demands that they should be regarded as having completed the course validly entitling them to have the degree certificates. 5.
The petitions are allowed directing the respondent to issue the degree certificates and to return all other papers to them. 6.
Pending civil applications are disposed of.
