The petitioner has putforth prayer clause 17(B) (in verbatim) as under:- " (B) To quash and set aside the impugned order dated 7.12.2017 passed by respondent No.1 Secretary of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fishery Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai in Revision No. 06/2017 filed by petitioner by challenging the order dated 2.8.2017 in respect of cancellation the allotment of contract / Theka of Kudala Talav / Tank for fishery, granted in favour of petitioner. "

I have considered the submissions of the learned Advocate for the petitioner and the learned AGP on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. 3.

The Revision Application No.6 of 2017 filed by the petitioner is still pending adjudication before the competent authority. akl/d

BENCH AT AURANGABAD 2 - WRIT PETITION NO. 168 OF 2018 4.

Keeping in view that the contract allotted to the petitioner has been cancelled by a speaking order of the competent authority, I do not find that this petition needs to be kept pending. Ends of justice would be met by directing the respondent No.1 to decide the pending revision application as expeditiously as possible and preferably on/or before the 30.4.2018. As such, with the above directions to respondent No.1, the petition is disposed off.
