IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

BENCH AT AURANGABAD PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION NO. 49 OF 2019 Ashok Balaji Gandhakte

VERSUS

The Union Of India And Others Mr. S. N. Gaikwad, Advocate for petitioner Mr. A. G. Talhar, DSGI for respondent Nos. 1 to 4

CORAM

: Smt. Vibha Kankanwadi & Hiten S. Venegavkar, JJ.

DATE : 11th December, 2025 PER COURT :- 1.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits the written instructions regarding withdrawal of the petition which is taken on record by marking Exhibit 'X'. He submits that the matter was filed in the year 2018 and registered in 2019 but, thereafter, the policies of the Central Government in respect of export and import of the goods have changed or modified and therefore, taking into consideration the present change in the policies, the petitioner would consider filing of a fresh petition if the cause for which he wanted to raise grievance still survives. 2.

In view of the aforesaid statement, petition stands disposed of with liberty as prayed.
