We have perused the Application filed by the Petitioner, addressed to the District Collector, Ahmednagar, dated 17/04/2023. It only makes a mention for permission to start a card-room.

The learned A.G.P. submits that, an application has to be filed in the format prescribed under Section 21 of the Bombay Police Act, 1951 and the Rules framed thereunder. 3.

We find that the Application is quite vague.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. If the Petitioner files a proper application in the format prescribed, by mentioning the clauses of the particular enactment, and the purpose for which a licence is sought, the Authorities concerned would consider the said application, strictly in accordance with the provisions of law, within a period of 120 days, after filing.
