Mr. Thombre, the learned counsel for petitioners seeks leave to delete the petitioner No. 2/Shivaji Sonawane. Leave granted at the risk of petitioners.

Mr. Pathan, the learned counsel for the respondent No. 3 submits that, the order of reversion assailed in the present writ petition has been cancelled. The copy of order is placed on record and marked 'X' for identification.

As the order of reversion has been cancelled and order of promotion under letter dated 17th November, 2017 has been maintained by the respondent No. 3 under its order dated 17.02.2018. As such purpose of petitioners stands served as they remain on promotional post and the order of reversion stands cancelled.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
