The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though the final award dated 28.02.2022 has been passed long back, but the respondent/State as well as acquiring body have not deposited the amount of compensation. However, the learned A.G.P. submits that after taking instructions, he would deposit the entire amount of award along with the interest as per the new Act, under which the award is passed, within a period of six months.

In view of the same, the petition stands disposed of directing the respondents to deposit the entire amount of award along with the interest till date, within a period of six months. On depositing of such amount, it be disbursed as per entitlement.
