Mr. Syed, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had approached the Joint Commissioner for redressal of his grievance for correction of the service record. However, the Joint Commissioner addressed a letter stating that the petitioner should not approach him and Additional Commissioner is competent to decide it.

Learned advocate further submits that, thereafter he had approached the Additional Commissioner, Nagpur Region, Nagpur, for redressal of his grievance. However, the same is not yet decided.

We have heard learned A.G.P.

The respondent - Additional Commissioner shall decide the application / representation of the petitioner (Page 52) expeditiously, on its own merits and preferably within a period of six (6) months.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
