This is the Application filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing the First Information Report and the Charge-sheet No. 8/23 in Crime No. 474/2021 registered with MIDC CIDCO Police Station, Aurangabad City, as RCC No. 859 of 2023 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Aurangabad for the offence punishable under Section 294-b, 506 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act.

Informant and the Applicants-accused are present before the Court. The Advocate for the Applicants and the Informant are present before the Court. They submit that the parties have amicably

They further submit that the initial crime registered against the Applicants for the offence punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code has been quashed by this Court with the consent of the parties. They submit that, in view of the amicable settlement, this application be allowed.

Learned APP opposes the application.

In view of the categorical submission of the parties who are personally present in the Court, the Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause 'C)' subject to payment of costs of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) to be paid to the High Court Bar Library, Aurangabad. The costs be deposited within two (2) weeks.

Application is accordingly disposed of.
