The petitioner assails his nonselection from Project Affected Persons category. 2.

According to the Respondent University the grand father of the petitioner namely Laxman Purbhaji was given appointment on 9.1.1984. It is

2 W.P.No.15076/17 contended by petitioner that the said Laxman Purbhaji who according to the Respondents was appointed on 9.1.1984 is not related to the petitioner. The name of the grand father of the petitioner is Laxman Purbhaji Shinde and he was working as a daily wager up to the year 2000. According to the learned counsel even certificate was issued to that effect by the Respondents. According to the learned counsel if his grand father would have been appointed in the year 1984 then the grand father would be entitled for pensionary benefits. Project Affected Person's Certificate was issued to the petitioner in the year 1989 and there is no question of the grand father being appointed in the year 1984.

It appears that all these documents were not placed before the Respondent University. Considering the anomaly, it would be appropriate for the Respondent No.4 to reconsider the case of the petitioner. The petitioner may submit additional documents with the Respondent No.4. The Respondent No.4 shall reconsider the documents that would be submitted by the

3 W.P.No.15076/17 petitioner and the representation given by the petitioner and take decision afresh as to the entitlement of the petitioner for being considered from the Project Affected Persons's category. The same shall be done expeditiously, preferably within two (2) months from the date of petitioner submitting the representation and the documents.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
