It is being pointed out that though by the communication dated 20/12/2022, the Government had decided to extend the time for the Schools claiming grants to rectify errors within one month, the petitioners' stand in that it was never communicated any deficiencies, pursuant to its proposals dated 14/11/2018, 25/03/2019 and 01/01/2023.

The learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are merely seeking a direction to the respondents to take appropriate decision on its request dated 07/11/2023 on its own merits.

Without expressing anything on merits, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.4 to forward the petitioners'
