The petitioner is disqualified on the ground that the petitioner failed to submit validity certificate within one year as per Section 10(1)(A) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act. The petitioner is elected as a member of the Village Pancayat from reserve category. 2.

We have heard Mr. Kadu learned advocate for the petitioner. The learned advocate submits that the principles of natural justice are not followed.

The issue is no longer res integra in view of the judgment of full bench of this Court in Anant H. Ulahalkar Vs. Chief Election Commissioner & Oth. Reported in 2017 (1) Mh.L.J. 431 and confirmed by the Apex Court.
