This is an application for condonation of delay of 1501 days caused in filing appeal seeking enhancement of compensation amount.

The learned counsel for the applicant contended that though the Reference Court has decided the Reference No. 351 of 2009 on 04.08.2015, however the compensation was disbursed in the month of June 2019. According to the applicant, due to illiteracy and financial constraint, he was unable to file appeal at the earliest. 4.

The other side objected for condonation of delay.

Considering the reasons canvassed for delay and the nature of the litigation, delay caused in filing the appeal stands condoned, subject to the applicant is not entitled for interest or any statutory benefits for the delayed period.
