Pursuant to the directions in Writ Petition No.1969/2017 dated 17.04.2017 the respondent - Municipal Corporation was directed to pay to the petitioner interest on the delayed payment of the retiral benefit @ 6% per annum.

Pursuant to the directions passed on the last date i.e. 09.01.2024 the learned advocate for the respondent - Municipal Corporation tenders across the bar a chart containing the particulars in respect of each of the petitioners and the amount payable to each of them including the interest for the delayed payment. 4.

The learned advocate for the petitioners, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are ready to accept the amount shown 1/2

980.CP.776.2017.odt against each of them and the office may be directed to pay them the amounts mentioned.

The learned advocate for the respondent - Municipal Corporation submits that admittedly the respondent - Municipal Corporation has filed the review petition. Any withdrawal, if at all permitted, shall be made subject to the final outcome of the review petition.

The chart tendered across the bar is marked 'X' for the purpose of identification. The office shall pay to each of the petitioners the amount shown against their names together with the accrued interest. Any such payment shall be subject to the final outcome of the review petition.

The contempt petition is disposed of.
