This Court cannot issue a Writ of Mandamus for recovering the unpaid bills of a private Contractor. However, the Petitioner submits that the claim towards such bills has been addressed through various representations dated 11.08.2017, 23.08.2017, 12.03.2018 and 31.08.2021 to Respondent No.4. In view of the above, this Petition is not being entertained. 2.

Therefore, this Writ Petition is disposed off. 3.

If the outstanding payment towards the Petitioner is admitted by the Respondent, it may accordingly take a decision on the pending representations within a period of 60 days. If there is any dispute as regards

( 2 ) 916 wp 7246.24 the bills, the Petitioner is at liberty to avail of a legal remedy, if permissible in law. We make it clear that we have neither expressed any view on the merits of the claim of the Petitioner, nor have we created any liberty for him, if the law of limitation does not permit.
