This is a Habeas Corpus petition filed by the father of the minor girl. A notice was issued in the matter. Today, Shri N. H. Tukade, PSI, Police Station Manatha, Dist. Nanded has produced the said minor girl before us. It is informed that she was produced before this Court on Friday i.e. 19.01.2024. Since the petitioner was not before this Court on that day, the girl was kept in shelter home. Now, she has been produced before us.

We had interaction with the minor girl, who is about 17 years and 06 months old. She expressed affection towards the boy. According to her, she had eloped with him. The Police Officer present

2 CrWP.1845.2023 before us informs that the girl in her statement stated to have married with the boy about three and half months before. Since she has not yet attained the age of majority and she is willing to join her parents, we allow her accordingly to go along with her parents, who are very much present before us.

Now, it is informed that pursuant to the FIR lodged by the father of this minor girl, that boy has been arrested. We found that this girl wants to ensure that boy is released on bail immediately. We hope that the Special Court would take this fact into consideration for grant of bail to the said boy. We allow the girl to join her parents. In view of above, proceeding stands disposed of.
