The learned Advocate for the petitioner is absent in morning session as well as in afternoon session. The learned Advocate holding for him seeks accommodation to keep back the matter once again. In fact, there is no keeping back the matters in the afternoon session.

The learned Advocate for respondent no.2 places communications on record by Professor, Maharashtra Agriculture University Recruitment Board, Agriculture Council, Pune dated 31.07.2024, whereby it was communicated that process of giving promotion has been completed in respect of Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agriculture University, Parbhani. The second communication is again by him dated 28.08.2024 giving details as to how many promotions have been considered i.e. 53 in numbers from different Universities. According to the learned Advocate for respondent no.2, the order has been complied with. In Writ Petition No.11726/2022 directions were given to the Pro-Vice Chancellor, (State of Maharashtra) and the State Government to nominate the members of recruitment Board. That exercise was to be completed on or before 15.02.
2023 and it was then directed that Board shall convene meeting regularly to deal with the pending proposals, representations with regard to the promotions. The Government has also filed affidavit of Mr. Anoop Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Agriculture And Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries, Mantralaya, Mumbai, thereby informing that respondent no.
(3) Shri. Sandeep Ramchandra Rajpure on the recruitment board as a member. Further Dr. Ravishankar C. N. and Dr. Bhagwan Marotrao Kapse have been appointed on the recruitment board by Hon'ble the Chancellor and it is stated that Coram is complete. Thus after the said appointments have been made, the board has taken up action in respect of giving promotions. 3.
Upon enquiry the learned Advocate for respondent nos.2 and 4 are submitting that all the proposals have been now considered by the board.

Under such circumstance, we take that the order has been complied with. In view of the same, contempt petition stands disposed of.
