We have heard Mr. Patil, learned counsel for the petitioner. The learned counsel submits that the land of the petitioner is taken in possession in the year 2013. As yet, the process of acquisition has not commenced and the award is not passed. The petitioner is deprived of the compensation amount.

Mr. Pawar, learned counsel for respondent No. 5 submits that in the year 2013, joint measurement was carried out. There was some mistake and now recently again joint measurement has been carried out. The acquiring body / respondent No. 5 would forward the proposal for acquisition within a period of two (02) months from today.

The said statement is accepted as an undertaking to the Court. 4.

The respondent No. 5 shall forward the proposal within a period of two (02) months from today for acquisition of the petitioner' s land.

The authority shall thereafter immediately commence the process of acquisition, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of the proposal from the acquiring body and shall conclude it within the time frame as provided under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act.
