The Petitioner claims the Freedom Fighter Family Pension since she is the daughter of Freedom Fighter. The Petitioner had made an application in that regard to Respondent No. 2 - Bank. 2.

It is submitted by the learned Advocate for Respondent No.1 that the Bank is not the authority to take a decision on the subject matter after expiry of six months from the death of Freedom Fighter or the Pensioner.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner will make an appropriate Application in the prescribed format

2 925WP551.2024.odt to Respondent No. 1 claiming the Freedom Fighter's Family Pension and the Petition can be disposed off by issuing appropriate directions. 4.

The Petitioner is at liberty to make an appropriate Appliction to Respondent No. 1 for Freedom Fighter Family Pension. If such an application is made, Respondent No. 1 shall consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the reasonable time on receipt of the same.
