By this Writ Petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to the respondent/Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner which is pending since May 2025.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the said proposal, the employer of the petitioner has issued a show-cause notice calling upon the petitioner to submit the caste validity certificate, failing which an adverse action would be taken against the petitioner.

Considering the same, we direct the respondent/Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of eight months from today. During this period, the employer/s of the

2 930.doc petitioner shall not take any coercive action against the petitioner. 5.

We make it clear that the protection granted by this Court will operate only till the caste claim of the petitioner is decided. 6.
