1] The learned counsel for the petitioner after arguing the matter on merits as alternate submission submits that the District Court may be directed to decide the pending appeal as expeditiously as possible. He further submits that he has filed his written statement in the appeal. Although the decree is in favour of the petitioner, the respondents are in possession and the petitioner is not getting fruits of the property although the suit is filed in the year 2005.

2] In view of the same, the District Judge is directed to decide the pending appeal as expeditiously as possible and in the event within 18 months from the date of production of the order of this Court.
