We have perused the order dated 19/07/2022, noncompliance of which is alleged in the present contempt petition. 2.

In the order passed by this Court in writ petition, Annexure 'X-1' was taken on record, which was a copy of proposal forwarded to the Deputy Collector, Land Acquisition (Co-ordination), Beed, dated 23/09/2021. This Court directed respondent Nos.3 and 4 in the writ petition to complete the proceedings as per the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 30/08/2023. 3.

AfÏdavit-in-reply is filed today on behalf of respondent No.3 District Collector, Beed, stating that as per the directions of SVH

2 937-CP-983-23.odt this Court land admeasuring 02 H 33 R was acquired for construction of Village Tank No.3 Manur (Bahirwadi) Tq. Shirur Ka., District Beed, from Gut No.592. Thereafter by following due procedure final award has been passed and the petitioners have been paid compensation amount.

In view of the above, we find that direction issued by this Court is complied with.

Petitioners contend that their lands are acquired for the purpose of construction of percolation tank and it is not clear as to who has constructed the percolation tank and petitioners being poor agriculturists are not in a position to get compensation as the acquiring body is not known.

This cannot be the subject matter of present contempt petition. If the petitioners have any grievance left, they are at liberty to file appropriate proceedings.
