The tribe claim of the petitioner as belonging to 'Mannervarlu' Scheduled Tribe was referred to the committee. The committee invalidated the claim on the ground that there was a spelling mistake in the name of the tribe and directed the petitioner to file fresh proposal to the concerned authority to get corrected the tribe certificate.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that petitioner had approached the Sub Divisional Officer for corrected tribe certificate, however, the said application is not entertained on

2 wp 255.18 the ground that the application is not in proper format. 3.

The Sub Divisional Officer was required to only issue the corrected tribe certificate by correcting the spelling of the tribe. 4.

The petitioner shall surrender the original/authenticated certificate received by him. On receipt of the same, the SubDivisional Officer shall give the corrected tribe certificate to the petitioner of 'Mannervarlu' Scheduled Tribe within a period of three (3) weeks.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
