Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner had earlier filed Writ Petition No. 1333 of 2019 wherein this Court directed the Director, Vimukta Jati, Nomedic Tribes, Other Backward Class and Special Backward Class Welfare, Maharashtra State to decide the proposal of the petitioner for additional division. However, it is the State Government who has authority to decide the proposal. The learned counsel submits that the Director has forwarded the proposal to the State Government on 08.04.2019. The State Government be directed to decide the same. 2.

We have also heard the learned A.G.P.

Considering the fact that, the proposal is already forwarded by the Director to the respondent No. 1 (page no. 51), the respondent No. 1 shall take decision upon the said proposal on its own merits, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from today.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
