The claim of the petitioner is, in view of the implementation of the project by the National Highways Authority, the land owned by him out of Gat No. 93/3 is affected.

So as to establish his claim, the petitioner has already approached the Land Acquisition Officer, i.e. respondent No.4 who has forwarded the request of the proposal to the respondent No.6 for remeasurement of the said land. 4.

We are informed by Mr. Kale, counsel for petitioner that the prayer for re-measurement is not decided by the respondent No.6 till this

In this background, it will be appropriate in our opinion, to direct the respondent No.6, to decide the claim of the petitioner for re-measurement of Gat No. 93/3, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of passing of this order.
